How do you calculate your fees?
Most advisory work is a fixed or capped fee agreed in writing before we begin. Litigation and complex deals are billed hourly against a budget we review with you monthly.
What happens in the free consultation?
Thirty minutes with an attorney. We tell you whether you have a problem, how urgent it is, and what it would cost to resolve. If you do not need a lawyer, we will say so.
Do you work with clients outside the city?
Yes. Video meetings are standard. We appear in person when a hearing, signing or negotiation requires it.
Can Lawsera act as outside general counsel?
Yes. A named partner, a fixed monthly fee based on volume, and a defined service level for reviews, board support and employment questions.
Who appears on my file?
A named attorney from first call through close. Associates may draft; the partner who met you signs the advice and answers the follow-ups.
Are results guaranteed?
No. We will be frank about risk before you instruct. Case studies show past work — every matter turns on its facts.
How quickly can you start?
Urgent filings can often begin within days of a signed engagement. For advisory work we usually schedule within one to two weeks.
Is the consultation fee credited if I retain?
Yes. If you instruct within 14 days, the consultation fee is credited against the matter retainer.

What clients say after the file closes

We stay reachable through the matter. The attorney you meet is the attorney who answers — and who appears.

We left the first visit with a fee on paper and a calendar that survived the move. The same lawyer answered every follow-up.
